I hope this message finds you well. Food, water and some daily essentials have made their way throughout Rockaway, Broad Channel, Howard Beach & Hamilton Beach. More is expected tomorrow.
My Howard Beach office has received an amazing response from the surrounding communities and we have plenty of clothing, blankets and food. If you need anything please stop by and we will gladly give you what we can. Both my Howard Beach office (drop-off and pickup) located at 159-53 102nd Street and my Middle Village office (drop-off only) located at 66-85 73rd Place will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Over the past few days I have toured the district. My staff and I have distributed accurate info on FEMA , area schools , small businesses , the red cross and Con Ed.
More hot meals will be available tomorrow as Red Cross is now fully operational locally. They have several mobile sites.

• Obtain a claim number from FEMA
• Call my Middle Village office at 1-718-497-1630 to give your information and claim number. We have direct contact with FEMA and will monitor your claim with them.
